The Department of Chemistry, Maitreyi College introduced its annual e-bulletin, “Chemzone” in the year 2021. Till now one issue of the magazine has been published. The offer for writing articles is made in the month of August and is released between the months of December and January. The faculty members comprise the advisory board of the magazine and supervise the design and conceptualization of the bulletin. The advisory board members select competent and enthusiastic students with creative/scientific inclinations as student editorial board members. The objective of the bulletin is to provide a platform to harness the synergy of chemistry and chemical advancements in the form of scientific articles, artistic illustrations, anecdotes, etc. The students contribute by performing various tasks like designing the cover page and layout, creating sections, plagiarism checks, proofreading, content editing, etc. Teachers, alumni, and students write articles for the magazine. The magazine covers scientific writing, creative writing, brainteasers, blogs, artworks, a summary of departmental events/activities/initiatives, and accomplishments of teacher, and students.
